This privacy policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their 'Personally Identifiable Information' (PII) is being used online. PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our privacy policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with our website and our app Call-World.

Service Description

The CALL-WORLD service will allow you to communicate with other persons including other CALL-WORLD service users. Our call rates are some of the lowest in the world. You can access them through your mobile and landline.

Key Points

The terms for Services only cover the terms on which you may use the Services. They do not cover your purchase of your Device or access to the internet via Wi-Fi or mobile data which you must provide, set up and separately pay third party suppliers for. Furthermore you acknowledge that these Third Party Suppliers Services will be subject to their Terms and Conditions which, for the avoidance of doubt will still be binding upon you in respect of your use of the CALL-WORLD Service.

You expressly acknowledge that our Services do not provide you with the ability to make emergency service calls. For Emergency Calls you further acknowledge that CALL-WORLD is not a replacement for your primary telephone service.

It is your responsibly to ensure you keep any device on which you use the Service secure so that it cannot be accessed by others who then use your account without your permission. CALL-WORLD cannot be held responsible if you do not do this

Services will be provided within our own, our suppliers and our network provider’s network areas but it’s always possible that the quality or coverage may be affected at times.

You must not use the Services for any illegal or improper purposes. Anyone under 18 is not permitted to access Age Restricted Services

The service is not suitable for anyone under the age of 13. We encourage parents to be involved in the on line activities of their children to ensure that no information is collected from a child without parental permission

You agree that we and our network provider can process your personal data, which we collect or which you submit to us during any sales or registration process, for a number of purposes, including to open and manage an account for Services, to deliver products and services ordered by you, for credit checking and fraud prevention, and for product analysis and direct marketing (subject to your preferences) as set out in our ‘Privacy Notice’ in the Terms for Services.

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your email address, phone number, AND CAMERA access to scan barcode or other details to help you with your experience. We access contacts and display to user, we never send user contacts to server.

  1. You may not use our services to harm Call-World or anyone else;
  2. You may not use our services in any way that is not authorized by Call-World; and
  3. You may not use our services to send, receive or process Protected Health Information in a way that violates the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.

This AUP has examples of restricted behavior, but does not list all restricted behaviors. Ultimately, Call-World will decide whether your use violates the AUP.

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes actions that Call-World prohibits when any party uses Call-World’s Services. This Policy is incorporated by reference and governed by the Terms of Service which contains explanations of defined terms and takes precedence over any conflicting provisions in this AUP. You, the Customer, may not use the Services without agreeing to this AUP. Thus, you agree not to use, and not to encourage or allow any End User to use, Call-World’s Services in prohibited manners, including but not limited to the following:

  1. Using the Services to encourage any illegal, abusive, or other activities that interfere with the business or activities of Call-World.
  2. Attempting to bypass or break any security mechanism on any of the Services or using the Services in any other manner that poses a security or service risk to Call-World or any of its users.
  3. Reverse-engineering the Services in order to find limitations, vulnerabilities, or evade filtering capabilities.
  4. Using the Services in any manner that may subject Call-World or any third party to liability, damages, or danger.
  5. Launching or facilitating, whether intentionally or unintentionally, a denial of service attack on any of the Services or any other conduct that adversely impacts the availability, reliability, or stability of the Services.
  6. Using the Services in any manner that violates: industry standards; any third party policies including all of the applicable guidelines published by the CTIA, the Mobile Marketing Association, or any other accepted industry associations, carrier guidelines (or any similar or analogous industry standards, third party policies or requirements in any other jurisdiction);, or requirements that Call-World may communicate to its Customers including any usage requirements.
  7. Engaging in any unsolicited advertising, marketing or other activities, including any activities that violate anti-spam laws and regulations including the CAN SPAM Act of 2003, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, and the Do-Not-Call Implementation Act (or any similar or analogous anti-spam, data protection, or privacy legislation in any other jurisdiction).
  8. Using the Services in connection with any unsolicited or harassing messages (commercial or otherwise) including unsolicited or unwanted phone calls, SMS or text messages, voice mail, or faxes.
  9. Using the Services to harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including email addresses or phone numbers.
  10. Service Availability: The Company will strive to provide a consistent level of service availability and performance, but will not be liable for failure or delay in performance obligations due to circumstances beyond its control. 
  11. Using the Services to engage in or in connection with fraudulent activity.
  12. Using the Services to receive, send or otherwise process Protected Health Information as defined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 as amended, unless you have signed a Business Associate Agreement with Call-World or your use of the Services fits within the “conduit” or some other exception for requiring a Business Associate Agreement.
  13. Violating or facilitating the violation of any local, state, federal, or foreign law or regulation, including laws and regulations regarding the transmission of data or software.
  14. Taking any action to participate in, encourage, or promote any activity prohibited under this AUP or the Call-World Terms of Service.
  15. Using the Services to transmit any material that infringes the intellectual property rights or other rights of third parties.
  16. Using the Services to transmit any material that is libelous, defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise malicious or harmful to any person or entity.
  17. Creating a false identity or forged email address or header, or phone number, or otherwise attempting to mislead others as to the identity of the sender or the origin of a message or phone call.
  18. Using the Services, or any component of the Services, in any manner not authorized by Call-World.

 

SUMMARY for Terms of Services

Additional Services: additional or supplemental services for which a charge is made in addition to the fixed periodic charges for the Services (if applicable).

Age Restricted Services: any Services for use only by customers 18 or over.

Cancellation Fee: means, a fee charged if we end the agreement due to your conduct or if you end your agreement within the Minimum Term. This fee may cover (without limitation) your fixed periodic Charges for the Minimum Term, our administrative costs, costs incurred by us in Connecting and Disconnecting the Services and our payments to operators, network providers, stores or agents.

Charges: charges for access to, and use of, Services. These charges may cover (without limitation) fixed periodic charges, usage charges, account administration fees, fees for Connection and re-Connection, a Cancellation Fee (where applicable) and any costs incurred in collecting outstanding payments from you.

Connection: the procedure by which we give you access to Services. ‘Connected’, ‘Connecting’, and ‘re-Connection’ have corresponding meanings. you can contact us with email listed bottom of this page.

Damage: any accidental, sudden and unforeseen damage to the Device caused by external means which affects the operational functioning of the Device.

Disconnection: the procedure by which we stop your access to Services. ‘Disconnected’ and ‘Disconnecting’ have corresponding meanings.

Device: the device or mobile device that is authorised by us for Connection to the network which is used to access Services.

Event: A CALL-WORLD number does any of the following – makes or receives an answered call, receives a voicemail, or sends or receives an SMS.

Expire (CALL-WORLD number): when a CALL-WORLD number is removed from an account and cannot be used any more.

Messaging Services: any email, fax and voicemail Services, text message and multimedia messaging Services, personal information management and other message or communication facilities which let you communicate with others.

Network Provider: our third party CALL-WORLD Number supplier(s).

Peer to Peer: “calls” or “messages” sent over a live Wi-Fi or mobile data internet connection from one CALL-WORLD user to another, providing they are both logged into their accounts.

Premium Services: any Services which are charged at premium rates – such as international roaming.

Services: any of the following services we offer you, including call services, Messaging Services, Storage Services, Age Restricted Services and Premium Services, which we agree to provide for you.

Storage Services: any Services which offer you storage capacity on the network for storage of content which you access from us.

Suspension: the procedure by which we temporarily Disconnect your access to the Services. ‘Suspend’ has a corresponding meaning.

Third Party Supplier(s): any supplier who is offering any product, service, store, website, software and/or other technology owned and controlled by third parties which may incorporated into, accessible through or used to access the CALL-WORLD Service or into which the CALL-WORLD service may be incorporated.

CALL-WORLD Application: application program interface consisting of the sets of routines utilized by the CALL-WORLD Services to provide the functionality of a given platform or operating system, the CALL-WORLD Application being included in or linked to the CALL-WORLD Services.

CALL-WORLD Service: the facilities and the products provided by CALL-WORLD under this Agreement including without limitation the software distributed by CALL-WORLD for internet and/or mobile communications, the CALL-WORLD Paid Services, the CALL-WORLD Application, user interface and Documentation as well as any future programming fixes, updates and upgrades.

 Please note: This list of prohibited uses is provided by way of example and should not be considered exhaustive. All determinations related to violations of this Acceptable Use Policy will be made by Call-World in its sole discretion.

The call-world Company will not be held liable for any errors, damage, or other unexpected events resulting from the use of the Service. User is responsible for all calls made by call-world app.

If you are using our Call-World application, we consider that you are agreed for all our terms and conditions.
